Eastbourne

Eastbourne is an East Sussex town that needs no introduction, but what is it actually known for? Its impressive CV includes hosting the world class Eastbourne Tennis Tournament, and being used as a filming location for movies such as Brighton Rock, James Bond, and Angus Thongs and Perfect Snogging. Eastbourne is also home to the unique Bandstand concert venue, and Beachy Head, the highest seafront chalk cliff in the UK. This cliff also marks the start of the South Downs National Park, an area many walkers, cyclists, and horse riders enjoy.

On the seafront, there’s the Sovereign Marina, Eastbourne Pier, and Pavilion Tea Rooms, along with the Redoubt Fortress Military Museum, and of course the sand and shingle beaches. With Eastbourne also attracting West End Shows to the Congress Theatre, and major exhibitions to the Towner Art Museum, visitors are guaranteed the best of what Eastbourne can offer, and a whole lot more!
