Although Sussex has its fair share of ancient market towns, Horsham, which lies to the West of the county, is one of the most active today. It holds markets selling local produce and arts and crafts, along with occasional speciality markets. Horsham also boasts many independent shops and art galleries which delight visitors.

Delve further into the town centre, and there’s Horsham Museum, with the Capitol Theatre and Cinema, and a sports centre adding to the attractions. Horsham is also a great base for exploring the  countryside with two key attractions for wildlife enthusiasts: The High Weald Landscape Trail starts in Horsham, while the Wareham Nature Reserve, with its many plant and bird species, can be found on the edge of town.  There’s no shortage of things to see here, but if you want to find out what else is on offer, you’ll just have to pay a visit!
