Welcome to Petworth, a small town with big features! Located in the Chichester district of West Sussex, Petworth has been a market town since medieval times, and is also an important antiques centre. A wealth of antique shops sits alongside independent fashion and food stores in the heart of the town, while the surroundings offer alternative entertainment.

Renowned landscape architect Capability Brown built over 170 gardens on country house estates, including one at Petworth House, now owned by the National Trust. Also look out for Petworth Cottage Museum, an example of working class life in the pre-great war period, and outdoor attractions such as the RSPB Pulborough Brooks site.  Wildlife enthusiasts will find a regular program of events on offer at the site, while back in town, families can enjoy the annual Petworth Festival of Music and Dance.
