BOGNOR REGIS’ own Danny Mac has been tipped to take this year’s Strictly Come Dancing crown, having had his first taste for the spotlight at Stagecoach Performing Arts in Chichester.
Topping the leaderboard last week, former Hollyoaks star Danny wowed the judges with his tremendous Tango.
Best known as Mark ‘Dodger’ Savage in the Channel 4 soap, Danny has been showcasing the moves he perfected at the Chichester branch of the nationwide network of performing arts schools.
Stephanie Hicks, Principal of Stagecoach Chichester and Danny’s former teacher says: “I can still remember Danny walking through our doors like it was yesterday. Such a fabulously talented young boy and it’s easy to see why he has gone on to such success.
“It just goes to show that our children are capable of so much and that with the right amount of support and guidance, they can aspire to anything.”
Stagecoach Performing Arts School in Chichester is currently located at Bishop Luffa School, Bishop Luffa Close, PO19 3LT and offers Saturday classes in term time for children aged 4-18 years.
Expert staff teach children and teenagers how to sing, dance and act, with the aim of empowering them not only to perform at their best on stage, but in life.
Stephanie adds: “At Stagecoach we want to inspire our children and provide them with the confidence they need to develop into bright young people and carry these attributes through to adulthood. We encourage anyone to give our classes a go, and see what they can do for you.”
Stagecoach Performing Arts Chichester are still recruiting for their autumn term.
